Question of the Day:
How often should I change my air filters?
The frequency of your change-out is effected by several factors. How many people do you have in your home? Do you have pets? What is the climate like in your area? Do you have allergies? What types of filters are you using?
All of these answers affect how frequently you should change your air filters. The more people you have in your home as well as if you have pets increases your frequency. If you live in geographical areas where you have high humidity and warm weather, this also increases your change frequency. As a rule of thumb for people living here in South Louisiana, you should change out your filters every 30-60 days. If you have a large household and pets, then you should change closer to every 30 days.
